Q:
How to remove and reinstall a Nissan Frontier's air conditioning condenser? Posted by Customer
A:
Have the refrigerant discharged and recycled by an air conditioning technician, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and drain the cooling system, remove the radiator grille and the hood latch support brace, disconnect the condenser line and discharge line from the condenser, cap the fittings on the condenser and lines to prevent entry of dirt or moisture, remove the condenser retaining bolts, lean the condenser forward and remove it from the vehicle, installation is the reverse of removal, add 1 to 1.7 ounces of fresh refrigerant oil and have the system evacuated, charged and leak tested by an air conditioning technician.
