To remove the fuel rail and injectors, start by relieving the fuel system pressure and disconnecting the battery. Remove the engine cover and air intake duct. Disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel rail and disconnect any electrical connectors and hoses in the way. Disconnect the electrical connector from each fuel injector and remove the injector harness if necessary. Remove the fasteners securing the fuel rail crossover hose flanges and remove the hose. Discard the old O-rings. Remove the fuel rail mounting fasteners and remove each fuel rail and its injectors as a single assembly. Use needle-nose pliers to remove the injector retaining clips and remove each injector from the fuel rail. Discard the old injector clips and O-rings. To install the new injectors, coat the new O-rings with clean engine oil and slide them onto the injectors. Install a new retaining clip on each injector, ensuring proper alignment. Coat the upper O-rings with oil and align the lower notch in the clip with the tang on the fuel rail. Insert the injector into its bore in the fuel rail and push it until the clip snaps into place. Coat the lower injector O-rings with oil and install the fuel rail assemblies on the intake manifold. Tighten the fuel rail mounting fasteners securely. Install the fuel rail crossover hose with new O-rings and tighten the flange fasteners. Complete the remaining installation steps in reverse order. After reconnecting the battery, activate the fuel pump by turning the ignition switch to ON and check for fuel leaks.
