  Q: How to diagnos and replace Cruise Control Module and Switch in a cruise control system on Nissan Frontier?

  A: There is a cruise control system that ensures the car moves at a constant speed, with a vacuum actuated servo motor connected with the throttle linkage by means of a cable. It is made up of servo motor, brake switch, vacuum pump, control switches, Relay and related vacuum hoses. To find common issues we can use general procedures. First of all inspect the fuse. Then inspect the shift lock/cruise control brake switch and clutch switch (on manual transmission models). Make adjustments or replacements if necessary.
