Before attempting to replace or remove the condenser, you have to disconnect the car's negative terminals of the battery. Next, it is required to delete the necessary parts, which allow to reach the condenser retaining bolts, which may include the radiator grille and the hood lock stay, and take out the condenser fan motor if available. Discharge the system and take out the condenser refrigerant lines while plugging these with a clean shop towel. In relation to the location of the component, the receiver drier assembly should be removed before the condenser when dealing with 200SX models. Following that, remove the condenser retaining bolts and pull out the condenser out of the car. During installation, mount the new condenser onto the vehicle and tighten all mounting bolts, to prescribed torque, applying new O-rings on all three refrigerant lines. Replace all refrigerant pipes and place back all components that was unscrewed in effort to access the condenser bolts; this may include the condenser fan motor if it was removed. Last, attach the negative battery cable and evacuate and charge the system when necessary, and check that the oil level is correct for the its system.
