To take out and in setting the rear window wiper motor,Turn off the car and take the negative cable off the battery and ensure that the
Wiper Arm will lift the blade off the glass. Subsequently, take off the attaching nut and washers, and in end the wiper arm from the motor shaft. Subsequently, unscrew the attaching screws allowing the inner finish panel to be uninstalled from the hatchback or liftback area, and, if available, the plastic water shield should be removed. Loosen the electrical connector from the motor and then unbolt the motor and bring it out. For installation, reverse the removal steps and it is recommended to tighten the rear window wiper arm-to-motor nut to the torque of 9-13 ft. lbs. (13-18 Nm). If the sealer has worn away from the outer edge of the water shield, apply a new ring of it before placing the water shield back.
