To remove the front bumper cover, first apply the parking brake, raise the front of the vehicle, and support it securely on jack stands. Next, remove the fender well liners, which may only need to be loosened on coupe models. Then, take off the lower engine splash shields, including the engine side splash shields and the main engine splash shield, noting that there are three screws at each end of the bumper cover. For sedan models, remove the grille, while on coupes, the grille will come off with the bumper cover. Proceed to remove the fog lamps or the fog lamp hole covers. After that, take out the bumper cover clips and screws, separating the bumper cover from the fender by releasing the clips by hand before removing the bumper cover. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the rear bumper cover, apply the parking brake, raise the rear of the vehicle, and support it securely on jack stands. Remove the taillight assemblies to access the rear bumper cover fasteners. On coupe models, unclip the rear fender well liners and pull them aside. For sedan models, remove the rear wheels and then take off the bumper splash shield from each end of the bumper to reach the fasteners. Remove the bumper clips and screws, then take off the bumper. Installation is the reverse of removal.
