An intercooler is only fitted to 1.2 litre engines. To remove it, start by taking off the air inlet hose and air inlet tube, then remove the front bumper. Extract the upper plastic expanding rivet securing the air guides to the bonnet lock platform on each side. Use cable ties or similar to attach the condenser, radiator, and intercooler to the bonnet lock platform to prevent them from dropping during the process. Next, remove the front bumper energy absorber, undo the three nuts on each side, and take off the bumper brace. Then, undo the two bolts on each side and remove the radiator lower support member. Cut the cable ties used to retain the intercooler, carefully lower it, and withdraw it from under the car. For refitting, follow the reverse of the removal procedure.
