How to remove and install the steering column cover on Nissan Maxima?

Remove the knee bolster and knee bolster reinforcement panel. On the right side of the column, pull out the small cover around the ignition switch. Remove the steering column cover screws from the lower cover and separate the upper and lower covers. Separate the cover halves and detach them from the steering column. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
