This procedure applies to either fender. Begin by loosening the front wheel lug nuts, raising the vehicle, and securely supporting it on jackstands before removing the front wheel. Next, take out the inner fender splash shield by removing its fasteners. Then, remove the inner fender noise insulator and the two upper fender trim pieces by opening the front door to access and remove the bolt at the rear of the fender, followed by the insulator and the two plastic panels, which must be taken off to access the upper fender bolts; pull back the upper panel to reach the push-pin clips underneath, pry them out, and remove the panels. After that, remove the radiator
Grille, the front
Bumper cover, and the headlight housing. Carefully pry the upper rear part of the small triangular fender trim panel to access and remove the upper rear fender bolt. Detach the windshield molding from the fender, then remove the fender mounting bolts, including the lower rear fender bolt and the one directly above it accessed by opening the door. Finally, remove the fender, taking care as it is glued to the body with foam that can be peeled off gradually to avoid bending the fender. Installation is the reverse of removal.
