To disconnect the Brake Master Cylinder you have to also remove the battery, air filter housing, and the intake duct to the throttle body. Remove the electrical connector of the FLUID LEVEL WARNING switch and drain as much fluid as possible from the reservoir using a syringe because brake fluid can harm the paint. It is recommended to position rags underneath the fittings and have caps or a plastic bag ready for the terminal ends of the lines if separation is needed. Remove the brake hose fittings on the
Brake Lines entering the Brake Master Cylinder using the flare-nut wrench in order not to round the flats, then withdraw the brake lines and cap the end. To do this, you have to unscrew the nuts that are connects the Brake Master Cylinder to the power booster then gently pull the Brake Master Cylinder off the studs. For the installation, prior to fitting the Brake Master Cylinder, bench bleed the new Brake Master Cylinder by fixing appropriate bleeder tubes to the outlet ports, whilst clamping the Brake Master Cylinder in a vise. Pump the required amount and type of brake fluid into the reservoir, then with the vehicle on its jack push the pistons until they are back into the Brake Master Cylinder to force out air, do this several times until the Brake Master Cylinders do not produce any bubbles. Clamp off the bleed tubes, plug all holes that are left open and seal the reservoir. Using a replacement of the Old O-ring seal, place it on the Brake Master Cylinder and grease it with silicone while greasing the bore section of the power
Brake Booster. Place the Brake Master Cylinder over the studs and only screw the nuts lightly with hand. Screw the brake line fittings into the Brake Master Cylinder without stripping them after that tighten the mounting nut and the fittings firmly. Bleed the Brake Master Cylinder, usually done with an assistant with the actual
Brake Pedal being depressed while loosening the fitting to let air and fluid come out until the fluid that is coming out is free of bubbles. Always test the brake system before driving the vehicle; if there is any doubt about the brake pedal feel, do not drive but seek advice. Last but not the least is the reconnecting of the battery and some re-learn processes that need to be done.
