Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, remove the center console, take off the steering wheel, and remove the dashboard trim panels. Next, remove the
Steering Column Covers, the door opening panel, and kick panels by first removing the door opening trim panel and then the kick panel mounting screw. Remove the speaker
Grilles, carefully pry the defrost vent out of the instrument panel, and take out the screws on the front air control panel to remove it. Remove the glove box assembly, unbolt the steering column from the instrument panel support brace, and take out the instrument cluster. Remove the front pillar trim covers by prying them back and disconnecting the clip anchors, then remove the front speakers if equipped. Disconnect the passenger air bag module connectors by prying up the locking tabs and unplugging them, then remove the passenger's airbag module bolt from the steering brace. Take out the instrument panel fasteners from the speaker grille openings at the top center, left side, and right side of the instrument panel, disconnect the radio antenna, and remove the support fasteners to lift out the instrument panel assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal.
