To have the rear console, one just has to open the lid and then remove mat there is always a trim panel at the front of the console and to take it out there are screws which must be removed, another thing is the insulation pad which one has to take out so that he or she may be able to see the rear screws. Before operating the shift lever, pull the parking brake handle up and then pull the release handle to detach the console, and electrical connector to pull the rear trim panel, and to remove the shift lever. In its reverse, the installation of the shift lever and trim panel is also done through following the same steps of removal. For the front console, position the shifter in Neutral, the cover on the shift knob should also be pulled down, unscrew the spring clip that secures the shift knob to the stall and then take off the knob. Lift the trim plate and pull the electrical connectors along with it and finally, pop out the heater and air conditioning control panel. Next, take off the lower trim panels on each side of the console by using a screwdriver, then unscrew the trim on each side of the lower console and the screws on the upper part of the console to detach the trim that surrounds the shifter; to install, reverse the steps.
