How to remove and install the shift knob and lower cover from the shifter on Nissan Sentra?

Move the shifter to the Neutral position, and if necessary, push the shift interlock release with a screwdriver to allow shifting. Slide down the lower shift knob cover, then use a small screwdriver or similar tool to remove the spring clip at the front of the shift knob.
