How to disconnect and remove the air filter box and air intake duct on Nissan Titan?

Disconnect the PCV fresh air inlet hoses from the air intake duct resonator. Installation is the reverse of the removal process. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air intake duct from the air filter box. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor. Remove the air filter box cover and the filter element. Remove the air filter box mounting fasteners and lift out the box. Undo the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Detach the starter electrical connectors. Remove the starter mounting bolts and undo the starter motor.

Nissan Titan Air Filter Box

The dust and other debris are captured by the Nissan Titan Air Filter Box equipped in the pickup that helps protect the engine. Thus, only clean air enters the combustion system. This Air Filter Box sits between the front air inlet and the throttle body. It contains a pleated paper element, seals it with rubber gaskets, and guarantees every incoming gallon of air passes through the media, blocking whatever particles could otherwise grind away pistons or clog oil passages.
