The interlock switch allows the engine to start only when the clutch pedal is depressed, while the ASCD (Automatic Speed Control Device) switch deactivates cruise control under the same condition; only models from 2011 and earlier are equipped with the ACSD switch. Both switches are located at the top of the clutch pedal. To replace a switch, disconnect the wiring, loosen and remove the locknut, and take out the switch, with installation being the reverse of removal. For adjustment on 2011 and earlier models, with the pedal released, check the clearance between the clutch pedal and the threaded part of the ASCD switch, then disconnect the electrical connector, loosen the locknut, and turn the switch to adjust it. With the pedal fully depressed, check the clearance between the clutch pedal and the threaded part of the interlock switch, then disconnect the wiring, loosen the locknut, and turn the switch to adjust it.
