    How to remove and install a throttle body on Nissan Quest? Posted by Customer

    Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube from the throttle body. Disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) connectors from the throttle body. Also label and detach all vacuum hoses from the throttle body. Detach the accelerator cable and if equipped, the cruise control cable. Detach the coolant hoses from the throttle body. Plug the lines to prevent coolant loss. Remove the four mounting bolts and remove the throttle body and gasket. Remove all traces of old gasket material from the throttle body and air intake plenum. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to use a new gasket. Adjust the accelerator cable and the cruise control actuator cable. Check the coolant level and add some, if necessary.
