Q:
How to remove and replace a blower motor in a Nissan 300ZX? Posted by Customer
A:
Disconnect the negative cable at the battery and place the cable out of the way so it cannot accidentally come in contact with the negative terminal of the battery. From inside the vehicle, on the right side, remove the facia/kick panel. Then, remove the two retaining bolts securing the computer electrical connector to the kick panel and let the connector hang loose. Proceed to remove the three blower motor retaining screws. Work the blower motor out around the computer electrical connector and heater box. After that, disconnect the blower motor electrical connector. If the motor is being replaced with a new one, remove the cage from the blower motor shaft and reinstall on the new motor. Finally, install the blower motor assembly in the reverse order of removal.
