How to replace a fuel pump? Posted by Customer: A:
To replace a fuel pump, first relieve the fuel pressure and remove the fuel tank. Next, disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector. Loosen the hose clamps and pull the three hoses from the top of the fuel pump assembly. Remove the retaining bolts securing the pump to the tank and lift the pump assembly from the tank. The installation process is simply the reverse of the removal procedures.
