    How do you detach the lock cylinder from the Door Latch Assembly for the 2000 Nissan Pathfinder? Posted by Harold R.

    First, detach the electrical connector from the lock cylinder, if your vehicle is equipped with one. Then, using a screwdriver or a pair of pliers, pry the lock cylinder retaining clip off the lock. Pull the lock outward to disengage it from the door and the lock cylinder control rod.
