- A:Tie a wire or rope to the fuel tube and wiring harness, then lower the module into the tank while pulling the wire or rope until the fuel tube reaches the fuel pump/level sensor module opening on the right side of the tank. Rotate the assembly until the tabs face the front of the vehicle, and reconnect the fuel tube and electrical connector. Install the lock ring and then reinstall the fuel pump/fuel level sensor module, access covers, and rear seat cushion.
