How to remove and replace a fuel pressure regulator in a Nissan Frontier's fuel system? Posted by Customer: A:
Relieve the fuel pressure, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, on four cylinder models remove the air filter housing, on 3.3L V6 models remove the upper intake manifold, on 3.5L V6 models remove the engine cover, clean any dirt from around the fuel pressure regulator, detach the vacuum hose and the fuel return hose from the fuel pressure regulator, remove the two screws retaining the fuel pressure regulator and remove the regulator from the fuel rail, install new O-rings on the pressure regulator and lubricate them with a light coat of oil, installation is the reverse of removal, tighten the pressure regulator mounting screws securely.
