    Q:
How to disconnect and remove the car speakers on the Nissan Titan? Posted by Customer
    A:
When repairing 2008 Armada models and all Titan cars, you need to disconnect the cable from the car's battery negative terminal first. Pull up the center bezel using a small screwdriver or trim tool. It contains the control panels for the radio and A/C heating system. Unplug the electrical wires, pull off the center facility with the radio controls as one piece, then remove all screws that hold the radio control to the center bezel. After that, unscrew the radio holder from its place atop the dash, then gently pull out the radio unit. Before taking it out, unplug the antenna lead and remove electrical wiring connected to it. Use a little screwdriver or trim tool to kick open the instrument panel cover at the front. Unbolt the tweeter, take it out, and disconnect its wire connection. Unplug the electric link, undo all screws, then pull the speaker out from its housing beneath the center speaker cover. To remove a door speaker, pull off the door trim panel, loosen the screws keeping the speaker in place, disconnect the electrical wiring, and take the speaker out. To get the liftgate speakers out, first remove the liftgate trim panel. Second, unscrew the speaker brackets and disconnect the electrical cord before taking out the speakers. Last, to take out the sub-woofer from truck cabs with upgraded sound systems, put either side of the front seat in the rest position, disconnect the speaker cables, and undo the speaker's holding bolts before lifting it free. We follow the same steps for installation that we used when taking components apart.

    Q:
How to remove and install the radio and Car Speakers on Nissan Versa? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the radio, first disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the center instrument panel trim using a trim panel tool to pry it up, tilting it to release the tabs, and take out the retaining screws. After that, remove the screws securing the radio, slide the radio assembly out, disconnect the electrical connectors, and take out the radio. For installation, reverse the removal steps and reconnect the battery, performing any necessary re-learn procedures. For A-pillar mounted tweeters, disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the windshield pillar trim panels, unscrew the speaker mounting screws, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the speaker, then reverse the process for installation. For door speakers, remove the door trim panels, unscrew the mounting screws, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the speaker, again reversing the steps for installation. To access the sub-woofer, remove the luggage compartment side trim panel, unscrew the sub-woofer, and take it out, storing it safely; installation is the reverse. For the satellite radio tuner on hatchback models, remove the lower left side trim panel and the sub-woofer, while for sedan models, remove the left side trim panel from the trunk, then unscrew the tuner mounting bolts, disconnect the electrical connectors, and remove the tuner, reversing the steps for installation. To access the steering wheel audio controls, remove the steering wheel, turn it upside down to take off the rear trim panel, unscrew the audio control mounting screws, and remove the controls, reversing the steps for installation. The Bluetooth system can be diagnosed through a self-diagnostic test or by a technician using the audio controls on the steering wheel. For Bluetooth unit removal, take off the lower right side luggage/trunk trim to access the Bluetooth module, disconnect the antenna wiring harness, remove the upper and lower bracket bolts, and take out the Bluetooth unit, reversing the steps for installation. For the microphone, remove the overhead center console and trim, disconnect the microphone from its electrical connector, and remove it, with installation being the reverse of removal.

Then, take off the center instrument panel trim assembly along with the right-side center trim panel above the glovebox and the left-side side trim panel for 2015 and later models. Next, remove the screws securing the radio from each side, disconnect the electrical connectors, and take out the radio.
