- Q:follow-up to my original question: why does the image for part 14828-16E01 look so different between the drawing on the order page and the referenced part in the engine diagram (lookup code 14832) which is also displayed on that same ordering page? The part I'm looking for is exactly what's in the engine diagram (14832), and not at all like what's on the part page (14828-16E01). How do I get that (14832) part, and what is the availability? MORE INFORMATION AS REQUESTED: Part name: this is part of the Air Induction Valve (AIV) case which connects to the AIV vacuum cut solenoid, which regulates vacuum in accordance with signals from the ECU the purpose of the Air Induction system is to reduce hydrocarbons in the exhaust by drawing fresh air directly into the exhaust manifold. The fresh, oxygen-rich air helps complete combustion of the unburned hydrocarbons before they are expelled as exhaust. Posted by Customer
- A:Sorry about the confusion, sometimes the diagram on the website does not match the part entirely. But per the VIN number, that part number is going the be the part you are looking for. If you go to google and type in the part # and go to image's, you can get a better idea of the part # through that.
