Nissan F2012-7Z025 Bumper Set Front

Start by taking off the radiator grille when removing the front bumper of the Xterra. In the front fenderwells, loosen only the bolts holding the bumper support brace. You need to remove two bolts from the main bumper support brackets on both the left and right sides of an Xterra. Push any wiring plugs out of the way before taking off the bumper. Two people should help you hold the bumper while you take out the bolts or nuts that keep the bumper on the frame of the car. To install the bumper correctly, follow all removal steps in reverse. Be sure to tighten every bolt holding the retainers. Start by opening the rear liftgate. Unscrew and take out the screws holding each of the outer plastic bumper extensions. Do this for the liftgate opening (several screws) and the wheelwell openings (four screws per side). Using assistance, hold the bumper steady while.numbers turning nuts off at the steel bumper ends lets you remove it easily. Follow our installation steps backward, making sure to tighten all bolts like you did during the removal process.
