Half raise the car, support it securely on jackstands, and then use a breaker bar or a pipe over the exposed part of the wheel lug nuts to loosen them. After that, change the setting of the grease with loosening the exterior nut of the driveaxle/ hub. Next, unscrew the hub/bearing assembly mounting bolts at the back of the steering knuckle and pull out the hub/bearing assembly. If splines fitted in the hub, then use puller, pull the driveaxle and use wire to support the inner CV joint from becoming stretched. For installations reverse the removal procedure and make sure all the fasteners are tightened to the recommended torque pounds. For the rear, perform exactly the same procedure that involved loosening of the wheel lug nuts, lifting the rear of the vehicle and placing it on jackstands then removing the wheel. For the AWD models, you should loosen the driveaxle or the hub nut if the work involves it. Take off the brake disc; disconnect the sensor of wheel speed from the rear suspension joint. Next, unscrew the mounting bolts for the hub and bearing assembly and pull out the hub and bearing assembly out. On AWD models, if the splines stick in the hub, you need to use a puller, with two jaws, to push the drive axle out, and to prevent over-extension of the inner CV joint you can use a length of wire. For installation just reverse the removal process and make sure all the nuts and bolts are tightened to their corresponding standard torque.
