To remove the radiator, follow these steps:Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.On 2004 and later models, remove the engine cover and the air cleaner duct.Unbolt the engine compartment power distribution module and set it aside.Set the parking brake, block the rear wheels, and raise the front of the vehicle on jackstands.Drain the cooling system and disconnect the automatic transmission cooler lines if equipped.Loosen the hose clamps and detach the radiator hoses from the radiator. If the hoses are stuck, twist them with slip joint pliers to break the seal and carefully pull them off.Remove the engine cooling fan assembly.Depending on the model year, either unbolt the small brackets attaching the top of the radiator to the radiator support or spread apart the locking tabs on the clips securing the upper end of the radiator to the mounting bushings.Lift out the radiator, being careful not to spill coolant or scratch the paint.
