To remove and install the wiper arms on all models, start by pulling the wipers up. Subsequently, pull the lock pin to remove the wiper blade, and the new blade has to be fitted into the arm until there is an audible click sound. Make sure that the part of the wiper blade touches the glass to avoid damaging the arm of the wiper. If it is possible the lock mechanism must be used for the taking off the arm assembly; To do that remove the attaching nut and lift the spring-loaded wiper arm at the base. To disassemble older models it is necessary to unscrew the lower screw and pulling down the attaching nut. Previously to the wiper arm reinstallation, it is recommended to clean the pivot area using the suitable brush or any equivalent as this will help to prevent the wiper arm from loosening.

Signs that indicate wiper blades need to be replaced include a smeared or streaked wiper pattern, or if the blade chatters across the glass. It is easiest to replace them in pairs.
