How to adjust the Shift Cable indicator on the 2001 Nissan Quest?

If there is a tilt steering column, then turn the handle and the shaft to separate the parts; then, unscrew the cover from the lower part of the steering column. Decouple the selector lever to the Neutral and rotate the indicator adjustment wheel until the indicator is aligned with the N on the instrument panel which is positioned just ahead of the ignition key. Select each gear position and check that the shift indicator is centered on each gear position: Post, Relevant, Null, Download, One, Two. Last of all, fit the shift column cover and fit the tilt lever back to the steering column as previously.
