  How to remove the timing chain and Oil Pump on 1.2L petrol 2015 Nissan Juke?

  To take out the timing chain, you should first have to, amongst other things, take out the sump oil pan. Next, remove the wiring plug of the oil pump solenoid valve, take out the wire retaining clip and also remove the solenoid valve wiring connector from the upper sump housing. Let go of the spring that is in the hole in the cylinder block and remove the chain tensioner from the pivot provided on the cylinder block. Loosen the oil pump drive sprocket retaining nut by turning a socket at the end of the oil pump drive shaft anti-clockwise. Take off the oil pump drive chain combined with the sprockets from the oil pump drive shaft and the crankshaft. He/She then unscrews the retaining bolts in order to remove the oil pump strainer, the oil pump bracket, and the oil pump from the upper sump housing. Check for wear and signs of the components and study the chain and sprockets and the pump; in this case, replace all the chains and its related components as a set with new ones and also replace all the disturbed O-ring seals. As a means of preparing the oil pump to be reinstalled, pour clean engine oil into it and while performing a clockwise rotation. Place the oil pump parts back into the upper sump half and tighten in the argument of the holding screws. Precisely position the chain over the two sprockets and then reassemble them with the oil pump drive shaft and crankshaft. Replace the oil pump sprocket retaining nut and fasten to the recommended torque. Mount the chain tensioner back to the pivot on the cylinder block in a way that the tensioner spring is properly arranged. Insert back the wiring plug in the oil pump solenoid valve, pull out the wire retaining clip, engage the solenoid valve wiring connector into the upper sump housing lastly. Last of all, replace the sump oil pan and the timing chain.
