- Q: How do you remove and install the actuator in the ABS system on Nissan 240sx?A:Before removing and installing the control module, you should first reduce the hydraulic pressure of the ABS system and then also, detach the vehicle's negative terminal. Subsequently, remove the electrical harness connectors and also the fluid connectors to the control module adding plugging the ends of the connectors to avoid leakage. For the 240SX model, unscrew the relay bracket, next unscrew the control module mounting bolts/nuts to release the control module from the mounting bracket. As for the installation, the control module has to be placed on the mounting bracket and secure the mounting fasteners. If relevant, put back the relay bracket of the 240SX, attach the fluid lines and harness connectors as well as the negative cable of the battery last. Lastly, pump the brake pedal again and open the bleed screw to evacuate the brake fluid or until the process is done.
