To remove the brake pads, you should follow certain steps which are; Remove the
Parking Brake Cable and brake hose and then, the two mounting bolts to remove the caliper assembly. Subsequently, unlock the mounting support from caliper body by unscrewing pin bolts which are usually available on the caliper body. Now with the needle-nosed pliers, you can turn the piston anti-clockwise to unlock and then take it off. Depress the ring from inside of the piston so that one can take out the adjusting nut, ball bearing, wave washer, and spacers. For removal, and in reverse order, do not forget to change all the seals and O-rings; then tighten the caliper mounting bolts to 28-38 Ft-Lbs.
