How to remove and install the Cam Gear and sprocket on the engine of a Nissan 240sx?

Remove the timing chair/belt. Remove the sprocket retaining bolt and remove the sprocket from the camshaft. On engines with a timing chain the chain and sprocket are removed at the same time. To install reverse the removal procedures. On V6 engines the right hand and left hand camshaft sprockets are different parts. Install them in the correct location. The right hand sprocket has an R3 identification and the left hand pulley has l3 identification.
