How to remove and install Fuel Tank on Nissan 240sx?

To remove and install fuel tanks in 1982-88 200SX, 240SX, Stanza and Stanza Wagons, first release fuel pressure and remove the battery ground cable. Drain fuel, remove luggage compartment protector, various parts, hoses, and tank securing bolts. Remove the tank. For installation, position and install the reservoir and fuel tank assembly, reconnect all lines, hoses, and electrical connection, and reinstall the protector. Reconnect the battery ground cable. For sending unit replacement, release fuel pressure, disconnect the battery cable, remove rear seat cushion, inspection cover, and disconnect fuel gauge electrical harness connector. Disconnect fuel filler, ventilation hoses, fuel outlet, return and evaporation hoses, remove tank protector and tank. To install, reconnect all fuel lines, ventilation hoses, and electrical connection, reinstall inspection cover and rear seat cushion, and start the engine to check for leaks.
