To replace or extract some part of the Stanza, first, lift the front part of the car safely and support it and then take off the wheels. Next, remove the wheel bearing lock nut and the brake caliper assembly while making sure that the brake hose will not be twisted. Take out the tie rod
Ball Joint and put waste cloth over the axle boots so as not to hurt driveshaft. The two components should be marked before they are released; match the marks on the strut housing and the adjusting pin. Prise the halfshaft from the knuckle lightly and then use a marker to indicate the bolt hole position, and finally, remove the strut mount bolts. Remove the nut at the bottom of the ball joint and pull it apart to get the lower
Control Arm and knuckle separated. For installation, force fit the wheel bearings and their races into and out of the knuckle assembly, and lubricate with grease after extracting the wheel bearings. secured to the lower control arm and the ball joint secured with new retaining nut and cotter pin. Screw the knuckle to the strut and halfshaft, before fitting the tie rod ball joint, along with a new cotter pin. Replace the brake caliper assembly and the wheel bearing lock nut hence tightening the hub nut to the necessary torque of the application. Last fitted the front wheels and adjust the front end as necessary.
