Ball Joint of the side rod. Then disconnect the ball joint from the side rod. First, pull the Mac Pherson strut away from the steering knuckle arm, then take off the tension rod and stabilizer bar from the lower arm. Find the connections between the lower control arm and the suspension crossmember. Take out the bolts there and set the control arm aside. Keep the ball joint and steering knuckle attached to the lower control arm. Tighten the control arm nuts or bolts lightly while positioning it over the suspension crossmember. Fully tighten them when you put the vehicle on its wheels. Lubricate the ball joints before installing them, then check you vehicle's wheel alignment.
