How to remove and install the door latch assembly on the Nissan 300ZX?

Gently take off the door trim panel. Pull the door latch control rods by pressing down on the two yellow plastic fasteners and then pulling the rod out of the fastener. Take out the screws that secures the door latch and the door then apply force to free the latch. Have the latch go through the inside of the door and then fit it into the groove opposite to the door end using three screws. Fasten the door latch control rods with the other end by inserting them into the yellow fasteners, flip up the fastener and lock it to the rod. Last but not the least; screw the new door trim in place.
