How to replace or test the thermostat in a Nissan 300ZX?

The thermostat is located on the engine's right-front side. Also, it controls coolant temperature. To replace, drain the cooling system, and remove the fan, shroud, and drivebelts. Lift the vehicle and remove the lower radiator hose and water suction tube. Remove the thermostat housing and the thermostat.
