How do you disconnect and remove the combination switch from the steering column on Nissan Altima?

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the steering column covers. Rotate the steering wheel for access to the two switch mounting screws; the combination switch can be removed without first removing the steering wheel, allowing access to the left and right mounting screws by turning the steering wheel. Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the switch and remove it by sliding it upward. Installation is the reverse of removal, followed by reconnecting the battery and performing the necessary re-learn procedures.
