How to replace the outer and inner Car Mirror on a Nissan Armada?

The cover protecting the mounting bolts for outside Armada mirrors must be pried off first since some models require adhesive to secure the cover. Detach the outside mirror by removing the fasteners and remove the door trim panel before unplugging the electrical connector. The inside mirror installation process begins with removing the trim cover from the base by handling the upper/lower trim covers and set screw and sliding the mirror off the base while disconnecting the electrical connector. The set screw needs loosening to separate the mirror from its base mount so you can disconnect the electrical connector and pull out the mirror. Reinstallation proceeds according to the steps of removal in the opposite direction. You can fix a detached mounting bracket to the windshield through a specialized mirror adhesive kit available at auto parts stores by thoroughly cleaning both glass and base properly according to adhesive instructions while letting the base bond overnight before restalling the mirror.
