The air filter is sited in the air cleaner housing at the left rear of the enginemen compartment. Start with the turning of the tab to release the upper inlet air duct from the air cleaner housing. However, for the inlet air duct; first, slide the duct up and release the pressure on the lower mounting pegs to clear the grommet then lift the inlet air duct upward to extract it from the engine compartment. Pull down the two retaining clips with your fingers to detach the air cleaner housing from the air cleaner casing. Easily pull out the old air filter from the air filter housing, with attention paid to whether the filter is to be reinserted in the same manner. Wipe the inside regions of the air cleaner housing with spares and the outer casing of the air cleaner with a clean piece of cloth to get rid of dirt that may be present. To do this, slide the new air filter into the housing, after which the housing needs to be fitted back into the slot and locked by two clips. Lastly, regain mounting of the upper air inlet duct.
