Subsequently, using the 310R puller separate the retaining nut and then take off the metal shield and pull out the air bag crash zone sensor from the stud provided on the bonnet lock. Using a pencil or a felt tip pen, mark on the bonnet lock the outline of the bonnet lock platform to help with refitting. Sequentially, remove the three securing bolts and pull out the lock assembly from the bonnet lock platform. It is now time to unfasten the outer cable to a bracket, and free the end of the bonnet release cable from the lock lever. The bonnet lock assembly can also be pulled out from the car once the clips have been released. For refitting, the procedures should be done in sequential order from this one.
