How to remove and install the air conditioning compressor and alternator on Nissan Murano?

Have the air conditioning system evacuated by a shop with the proper equipment. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the engine cover. Loosen the lug nuts of the right front wheel. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, then remove the wheel. Remove the access cover from the right front wheel well. Remove the air filter housing and inlet duct. Remove the drivebelt. Remove the air conditioning compressor. Remove the drivebelt idler pulley. Disconnect the wiring from the oil pressure switch and the alternator. Remove the alternator mounting fasteners, then remove the alternator. Installation is the reverse of removal. Perform the re-learn procedures if necessary.

Nissan Murano Alternator
