How do I remove and install a starter on Nissan Murano?

Get rid of the battery. Remove the air filter housing and the air ducts. You should disconnect the wiring from the engine control module (ECM), transaxle control module (TCM) and also the fuse box/power center, then remove the battery tray. Disconnect the wiring from the starter. Remove two mounting bolts and remove starter. Installation is reverse of removal. Reconnect battery and do necessary re-learn procedures.
