When planning to release or undo the Brake Master Cylinder, the first step is detaching the cable of the negative terminal of the battery. Then, it is necessary to take off the air filter housing, the air intake duct, the cowl trim covers, and the wiper motor assembly. Suck as much of the fluid as possible from the primary brake fluid reservoir using a syringe, then unscrew the hose suggested to be linking between the remote reservoir and the Brake Master Cylinder reservoir and cap it. Lay rags over the hydraumatic line fittings and ensure you have caps or plugs in preparation in case you have to remove the ends of the line. After that, the flare nut wrench should be used to remove the two brake fluid hydraulic line fittings from the Brake Master Cylinder; the
Brake Lines should then be pulled away and the ends plugged to avoid any contamination. Take the nuts that connect the Brake Master Cylinder to the power booster in an anticlockwise direction and then gently ease the Brake Master Cylinder off the studied in order not to lose any remaining fluid. To install the Brake Master Cylinder unbolt it and bench bleed it by securing it in a vise and connecting bleeder hoses to the outlets. Pour the recommended brake fluid into the reservoir and then slowly depress the pistons back into the Brake Master Cylinder while observing for air bubbles and doing this until none can be seen. After taking off the bleed tubes, screws must be placed into the opened ports and the cap of the reservoir. Put on a new O-ring seal for the Brake Master Cylinder and treat it with silicone grease, and then slide the Brake Master Cylinder over the studs on the power brake booster, and tighten the nuts slightly with your fingers. Next, screw in the brake line fittings into the Brake Master Cylinder while making sure not to damage the threads, finally tighten the brake line fittings and Brake Master Cylinder mounting nuts. Top off the Brake Master Cylinder with brake fluid, and then bleed the Brake Master Cylinder first then continue to bleed the rest of the brake system. To bleed the lines, first, wherein the assistant should apply the brake pedal firmly and at the same time uncover the fitting bit to let air escape, this is done repeatedly until all the bubbles have dislocated from the fluid. Last of all, connect the battery in the proper manner and carry out all the re-learn processes.
