Before pulling it back out, loosen the front wheel lug nuts but do not take them off yet, then safely raise the front end of the vehicle and support it with jack stands and, finally, take off the front wheels. Then unscrew the brake hose nipple fitting from the caliper and connect it to the brake hose using a short piece of rubber tube of adequate inner diameter for the banjo fitting to thread into to in order to avoid any contamination of brake fluid as well as to reduce the amount of brake fluid loss. Subsequent to that, likewise, take out the caliper mounting bolts and then take off the caliper from the steering knuckle.During installation make sure to change the sealing washers of the
Brake Line fitting in front and at the back of the brake line fitting and tighten the caliper mounting bolts and the banjo bolt to the recommended torque setting. Last put brake fluid back into the brake reservoir, fit the wheels and nuts, also lower the vehicle then torque the wheel nuts up to the required number.
