Before attempting to remove the front wheels, loosen the lug nuts, after which raise the car using the jack and securely block the car using jack stands. Third, next unscrew the tie-rod jam nut and turn it counterclockwise several turns or until the tie-rod, end is displaced in relation to the inner threads of the tie-rod so that it could be easily distinguishable. Following this, one should unlock the cotter pin and then turn the nut on the tie-rod end stud but not take the nut off. Proceed to remove the tie rod with the help of puller then remove the nut and pull apart the tie rod end from the steering knuckle arm. Remove a nut and bolt securing the tie-rod end to the tie-rod. For installation, pass the tie-rod end to the marked position and then place the stud through the steering knuckle arm and then tighten the jam nut. Screw in the castle nut to the stud followed by tightening it with the required torque, fit a new cotter pin. Last of all, replace the wheel and put on the lug nuts, afterwards, drop the car and secure the lug nuts to the standard measure tightening, also make adjustments on the front end alignment if required.
