Control Arm-to-balljoint nuts to detach the balljoint from the control arm. After removing the balljoint from the control arm, installation is the reverse of removal. Ensure all fasteners are tightened to the specified torque and install a new cotter pin through the balljoint stud. Finally, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.
