Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the rear of the vehicle, support it securely on jackstands, and remove the wheels. Detach the stabilizer bar link-to-lower suspension arm bolt/nut, followed by the stabilizer bar link-to-stabilizer bar bolt/nut. Remove the stabilizer bar clamps and bushings, noting that on some models, it may be necessary to remove the muffler to access the stabilizer bar clamp bolts. After removing the stabilizer bar, inspect the clamp bushings and link bushings, replacing any that are cracked or torn, ensuring the slit in the new bushings faces the rear of the vehicle and that the clamps are installed in their original positions. Installation is the reverse of removal, with fasteners tightened to the specified torque values, and the wheel lug nuts also tightened to the appropriate torque. Before tightening the stabilizer bar link-to-tower arm fasteners, raise the
Trailing Arm with a floor jack until it reaches normal ride height.
