How do you replace the thermostat and water control valve in a Nissan Rogue?

To replace a thermostat and water control valve on your vehicle, detach the splash guard. You can disconnect the exhaust manifold heat shield, lower radiator hose, and transaxle fluid cooler hose. For the water control valve, remove the air inlet/resonator duct, remove the battery and the tray, and disconnect the hoses. Remove the heater pipe as well as the water control valve housing. Mount a new sealing ring and valve, and reassemble.
