Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and remove the steering column covers. For 2014 and earlier models, disconnect the wiper/washer switch electrical connectors, then pull the wiper/washer switch towards the passenger's side while pressing in on the top and bottom pawls to remove it, with installation being the reverse of removal. The turn signal/headlight switch, also known as the combination switch, requires pulling the switch outward towards the driver's side while pressing in on the pawl tabs, disconnecting the electrical connector, and removing the switch, with installation being the reverse of removal. For 2015 and later models, the combination switches cannot be removed separately and must be replaced as an assembly if there is a problem. Remove the steering wheel and clockspring, disconnect the electrical connectors from the combination switch, remove the retaining screw at the bottom of the combination switch, and slide the switch off of the steering column, with installation being the same as removal. To access the hazard switch, carefully pry out the instrument panel center vent assembly, disconnect the electrical connector from the hazard switch, disengage the retaining tabs, and push the switch out from behind, with installation being the reverse of removal.
